This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use Snowball Smash (the “App”, the “Game”), developed and published by Karen Gyurjyan (“we”, “us”, the “Developer”), how that information is used, and what choices you have.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The current version of Snowball Smash contains no advertisements and no in-app purchases. In-game currency is earned only by playing and has no real-world value. Future versions may introduce advertising and related measurement; the sections below describe how such data would be handled, and the data safety / privacy label on the App's store listing always reflects the specific version you install.
The App does not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, postal address, or payment details. You may optionally choose a display name to show on the leaderboards; if you do, we store that name. If you contact us by email for support or a privacy request, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to answer you.
To provide online features (saving your progress, syncing across sessions, and leaderboards), the App uses Google Firebase and automatically collects:
The current version does not do this, but a future version of the App may be supported by advertising and may measure the performance of our own marketing. In that case, and subject to the consent choices you make, the App may also collect:
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
The App uses the following services provided by Google, which process data as our service provider under Google's own privacy terms. We encourage you to read them.
A future, ad-supported version of the App may also use advertising, mediation, and attribution partners, which act as independent data controllers for the data they collect. These may include:
Not every service listed above is present in every version of the App. Firebase is used in all versions; advertising and attribution partners are only present in versions that include advertising. The data safety section (Google Play) or privacy label (App Store) on the store listing always describes what the version you install actually collects.
The current version of the App shows no ads. If a future version is ad-supported, advertising may be personalised (selected using your advertising identifier and inferred interests) or non-personalised (based only on general context such as your approximate country). You can control this:
Turning off personalised advertising does not remove ads; it means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under the applicable minimum age in your country, which is 16 in some parts of the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. All accounts are anonymous.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address at the top of this page and we will delete it promptly.
We keep data tied to your anonymous account for as long as you use the App. Crash and diagnostic data are typically retained for up to 90 days. Aggregated analytics data, which cannot be used to identify you, may be kept for longer. You can request deletion at any time (see section 10). Our service providers apply their own retention periods, described in their privacy policies.
Our service providers operate globally, and your information may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our providers rely on legal transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
You have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion of your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. In versions that use personalised advertising, sharing your advertising identifier with advertising partners may be treated as a “sale” or “share” under California law; you can opt out using the device controls in section 5 or by emailing us.
Email us at the address at the top of this page, or follow the steps in the section below. We respond within 30 days.
To delete the data associated with your anonymous account in Snowball Smash, email gyurjyankaren1986@gmail.com with the subject “Snowball Smash — data deletion”. Please include your device platform and, if you set one, your in-game display name, so we can locate and remove your record. We respond within 30 days.
Full step-by-step instructions, including deletion contacts for any advertising or attribution partners used in ad-supported versions, are on our User Data Deletion page.
We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App or its store listing may contain links or (in ad-supported versions) advertisements that take you to third-party websites and app stores. We do not operate those destinations and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and post the updated version here. Material changes will be brought to your attention inside the App where required by law. Please review this page periodically.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, contact Karen Gyurjyan at gyurjyankaren1986@gmail.com.
